That's was a steal of a trade. Depending on how draft picks work in your league I guess. My dynasty league we only draft rookies, the rest is auction so I was looking at it that way. Rookie draft picks would be less valuable than if you could draft vets.

I drafted Brown as a rookie and signed him to a max 4 year contract. 2 years to go including this season. He basically costs me $6 against my cap. I also have Ridley on his final season for just under $9.

Agreed. We don't do any auction bidding, just $100 FAAB for waivers and like you guys, an annual rookie draft. I agree though, I loved the deal. Obviously AJB is a top WR asset. I also find Cousins to be criminally undervalued in Superflex. Since I didn't get any high quality SF quarterbacks I had to try to make it up in quantity and snagged Tannehill, Mac Jones, Cousins, and Jordan Love.

Draft Kings must have changed how they value each player because it is extremely difficult so far this year to pick a good lineup in their cap games.

I think there are a lot of cheap receivers out there this week. Callaway, Elijah Moore, Rondale Moore....some decent low cost high ceiling guys if you do the big tournaments.

It was the QB's and RB's that were for some strange reason really high in value. Though I did find A. Jones to be under valued and picked him at RB. QB I just went with M. Jones as all of the other price per points were just overly high.

Is waiver wire order just random to start? On Yahoo I get to be #7 after drafting #10. Kinda lame.

Depends how your league commissioner has it set up. Most are either turn based (back of the line after you make a claim), or record based by inverse order of standings.

Initial order in turn based systems would usually be in reverse order of draft order, but again depends how your league has it set up. Might just be totally random for first order too.

True or overreaction: Deebo, not Aiyuk, is the WR1 in San Francisco.

Aiyuk isn't even #2 right now. Trent Sherfield seems to be.

Someone assure me Carolina's D won't get lit up this week.

I totally understand all the reasons why they should have a solid week and I agree with them. However, this is a Thursday night game and those are always a total cluster in reality and fantasy. This seems like one of those perfect fantasy situations where all the experts and non-experts alike agree on something and then it goes total bust and everyone looks stupid. The Raiders are my other option.

The McCaffrey owner in one of my Yahoo leagues put in a claim on Hubbard following last night's game, and for some reason it was already processed and he has Hubbard on his roster as of this morning! The league doesn't have free agency, and runs waivers daily Wednesday-Monday. But shouldn't it make logical sense that a player who played Thursday wouldn't then be available until the next's week's waiver period starts the following Wednesday? I mean, I would have thrown in a claim on Hubbard, and I currently have the #3 priority. The player who grabbed him had #10 priority.

Is it just tough luck for not knowing the glitch, or do I have a beef here?

In any legitimate league Hubbard absolutely should have been/should be locked until after Monday nights game.

This is the response I got from Yahoo:

Continuous waivers do not function in the same manner as the other weekly waivers where players lock into waivers until the following Wednesday. If you have waiver processing dates set up to run Wednesday-Friday, players will be available to be added through waivers on Friday even if they have already played in that Thursday game. Managers won't be able to put them into their lineups since they already played but there is no option to have them available in the next week's waivers. They will be available the next processing day for the league.

That seems like it would be a simple fix. No other fantasy provider allows that type of move to happen. Yahoo is pretty terrible, though.

That sounds like a terrible way to run waivers. I'm assuming players who play Sunday aren't processed on monday and have to wait right?
