Utter dominance from Hader. You love to see it.

He's not throwing as hard as he used to, but his slider is way, way better than it was and he is just a better pitcher than he was.

 

He hit 96 several times tonight. I don't think he ever threw faster than that. I remember a 97 here and there maybe last year.

I think he was 99/100 when we first traded for him. But his last years of dominance were topped around 97.

It almost seems like the path of Hiuras bat through the zone is the same regardless of where the pitch goes....

 

It really seems like he's trying to launch one 450 feet every time he swings. I think be has it in his head that he's a major power hitter. I mean, he's going to get his homers, but his big selling point when drafted was his ability to put the bat on the ball.

 

He’s a slightly better Corey Patterson. An all world talent, but teams know where to pitch him where he can’t hit it and can’t lay off it, and to date he has been unable to adjust.

I don't remember that, I'd say that may belong to the nerd or Anderson.

Most of them were flamed pretty good. I think the dander for the Gyorko signing built when fans realized another 3B wasn't going to be acquired.
