I'm impressed that Counsell is just tossing out the same lineup. I thought for sure he would make a change just for changes sake.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Hendricks is on the hill tomorrow, which means we'll likely see Gyorko, Taylor and perhaps Braun back on the bench. Sogard is guaranteed to start once this series, if not both Saturday and Sunday.

Good first inning for Woody. Ian Happ squared him up pretty good, but luckily to the deepest part of the park. I knew Happ was having a good season, but didn’t realize until today that he’s squarely in the conversation as a top 5 NL MVP candidate this year.

I find it almost impossible to believe that Yelich is hitting .213 after 40+ games....

That is just crazy talk...

I honestly think that knee is bothering him.

The meat of the order (Hiura, Yelich) has just killed this offense. Not because they've been horrible, but because they haven't been nearly as good as we'd hoped.

This is so accurate. What do you think their record would be if both werent just average this year? Have to imagine that's at least 2 or 3 wins.

Average is being kind.

Despite what Rock suggested that didn’t look like that crazy of a hop or spin on the ball to Urias. I guess it was difficult in the sense it hit the dirt close to him and he tried to field it as it was rising.
