Players should really learn how to beat the shift in a spot like that. A runner on second and third and literally no one on the left side of the infield. Push a bunt, you score a run, and have a guy on 3rd/1st...kinda amazing. Heck push it hard enough and you score two on a bunt.

Going to take 3 singles to the OF wall to get him home.

I don’t know why people are shocked we took him over Smoak. He is twice the player Smoak was...weight wise.

When Bill said he carry's a lot of punch he really meant he carry's a lot of paunch.

This might be worst plate umped game of the season.

It’s been pretty poor. Takes some of the enjoyment out of it when you have to hold your breath after every pitch wondering what it’s going to be called.

If Burnes has turned the corner like Woodruff did last year, having him and Woody as our 1 and 2 is a really nice feeling. Add an arm in the off season, and our rotation will look pretty tough, assuming we can get a decent, competent, 4 and 5 guy(s).

I am starting to think that Houser is not an answer for our long term rotation plans. I think that, not sure if CC and Stearns feel the same though.

Can Peralta do the same next year and be a legit rotation arm?

Very encouraging start for Corbin Burnes tonight. He’s done a great job of limiting hard contact. Even in the 5th inning when the Indians strung together a couple of hits those two balls were put in play at 80.7 mph and 72.9 mph.

Even the Indians announcers were shocked over that strike call on the check swing. this guy is terrible.

Make up call(or missed the other way) right after I guess...

Edit: a make up, make up call after the make up call. 3 pitches in a row called wrong to end that Nottingham at bat..

So Haines actually said "F___ You" to the ump, will he get a suspension for that behavior? I know there are heated words between umps and coaches frequently, but that seems like a no no to me...
