Sogard will start the rest of the season. Cool.

Counsell will sit Sogard next game. His reward to HR hitters.(or is it punishment?)

That rule doesn't apply to Sogard...

Sogard just bought another 10 straight starts with that dinger, and possibly another 2 year extention.

It just bought him 2 more years.

Yeah tonights blowup shouldn't lower his value but it probably will. The move will most likely have to occur in the offseason if at all.

It won't. GMs of contending teams aren't idiots.

They are idiots for the most part which is why I think we can get a monster package but Hader has walked a ton of guys this season and that can scare GMs off when the price is so hig to begin with.

The Dodgers’ front office personnel are the literal opposite of an idiot, so that’s not a valid rationale.

Better than Villar...

I think this has been proven wrong so many tunes over. Huge mistake by Counsell.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

No props for Sogard? Not Even tonight?

No. None. When you give Villar his due, I’ll consider it.

Eric Sogard hits a walk off from behind homer and we are talking about Villar?

How does that even happen? Honestly, what a weird guy to come up. Hate this long after he is gone? He had 4.5 WAR in a few short years here. Orlando Arcia has lime half that in half a life time here. Why? Don’t get it.

Got to love Sogard for looking legitimately shocked after it left his bat and he realized he hit a HR :laughing

I’m not sure who was running around the bullpen, but I was doing the equivalent around my living room when it left his bat.
