Brewers DFA Brock Holt; Select Jace Peterson

He's worked some walks but I still think he's garbage. It does seem like he's had some important at bats but with the way that a guy like Yelich is swinging it, it really hasn't mattered.

I think this is the big point. If Yelich and and Hiura were swinging the bats like they can then this wouldn't be as big an issue because they would probably be above 500 at this point.

I don't think there's much out there for better options but Jace is the standard crappy, utility player that Counsell falls in love with. The problem is that they have two of them right now.

Mark Mathias at least will give you a solid at-bat. The problem is he's a right-handed batter, and Counsell obviously wants a left-handed hitter on the bench. I suspect that is what is keeping Ryon Healy down right now as well.

I expect Billy McKinney to be up in the next couple days, likely taking Peterson's LHH bench spot. Remains to be seen if he is an actual upgrade, but he does have a much better minor league track record.

Domingo just isn't the player this organization is looking for. He's not athletic enough to fill a corner outfield role and his bat just hasn't been there enough for a MLB to go with him. People remember the 30 homers but that's just not what you'd be getting.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yeah, but those 150+ K's would fit right in with the team!

Due to the avatar, I totally read this using Peter Griffin's voice.

Well done!
