Glad they were able to keep the Pirates to a zero that inning.

This isn’t any sort of revelation, but Lindblom is likely going to require some decent run support in the majority of his outings this year. Seems like the type of pitcher that might be able to keep the blow-up innings to a minimum, but is likely going to get hard enough to typically give up a few runs per start.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Imagine sending down that guy and playing the likes of Sogard and Holt in place of him when our team is struggling to bat .200

Arcia can't even get the runner over to 3rd.

Swung through a high FB but his first two cuts were trying to hit the ball the opposite way. Nothing wrong with the approach and he was pretty pissed at his execution.

Holland is really good at trying to pick off runners.

Definitely no cheapy. He hasn't been great by any means, but Gyorko is starting to grow on me. At least he gives you solid at-bats, and can put a charge in one.

Polanco and the Pirates. You can’t stop them you can only hope to contain them.

One of the usual features of these lost series at PNC is that whenever the Brewers manage to score, the Pirates answer immediately, and usually with more than the Brewers scored.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
