2020-08-18: Brewers (Burnes) at Twins (Maeda) [Brewers lose, 4-3 in 12 innings -- Brewers spoil Maeda’s no hit bid in the 9th and rally for 3 runs, but fail to get a run across in extras]

This would have sounded blasphemous a month ago, but it might be time to send Keston on an all-expenses-paid trip to Appleton, and give Urias his innings at 2B. He simply doesn't have much of a clue right now.

If they had a replacement who wasn't currently doing worse than Hiura I'd agree. Sending him down would just lead to even more Sogard and Holt, so I think as bad as he's doing, he's doing better than his replacements would.

Honestly, I'd probably play Urias at 2B, Arcia at SS, and give Gyorko the majority of the time at 3B.

Keston is too good of a hitter to be striking out at such an alarming rate. He's gotta figure some things out.

There is no reason to send Hiura to Appleton where he can’t do much other than hit balls off the tee. That’s just a waste.

Agreed......he just needs to work through it......

Don't get me wrong ... I'm extremely high on Hiura. He's a huge talent. But he looks like he's guessing up there.

This guy is just painting

Yeah Burnes is pitching great.

They play at Pittsburgh later this week where he has like a 14,000 OPS. Might be just the thing he needs.

I think I need to stop following this team for a while.

Turn it on in the 5th and Maeda throws three straight strikes to Gamel.

Then Burnes promptly gives up a double.

Well the first part has happened with every Brewers hitter the entire night (and Gamel for the last 3 1/2 weeks) so you can let yourself off the hook on that one.
