Giants lose.......win and they are in.

Win tomorrow and not only are we are but I also believe we pass STL for the 7 seed. Unless they have to play their DH and win both to end 31-29.

The Cards can't go 31-29, since once they hit 30 they close out the Giants because of the tiebreaker. The last game would only be for seeding and they aren't playing games for only seeding. They would go ahead of the Brewers at 30-29 though if they win the 1st. If they split, or the Giants lose, the Brewers are the 7 with a win.

I will tell you this, I was wrong about baseball this season and the extended playoffs. In the end I'm more excited about the brewers having a shot today than I expected to be, even if I still think playoffs are better it's harder to qualify.

On Wednesday the games start at 11 AM, and there will be 8 of them, starting nearly every hour until culminating with the Brewers-Dodgers tilt at 9 PM. Four of those eight are guaranteed to be elimination games for somebody. It's going to be like the NCAA Tournament. That's fun.
