You should really look up his numbers. Hell, I wasn’t even sure he was on a big league team still.

.450 SLG % and .800 OPS for his career so far ... the Brewers could use a hitter with those stats on this year's team I'd say.

Career numbers do not mean that is what you’re going to get, unfortunately. He’s really had one stellar season that helps inflate his career numbers a bit with a few solid ones before that. Then he fell off the cliff and hasn’t found his way back. He’s just not a very good hitter on top of being a lousy fielder. He’s just not good.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

21 homers last year ... .253 average ... that is not falling off a cliff ... what Yelich has done this season so far is falling off a cliff.

Uber prospect is probably a really generous stretch of the definition on Urias. He was a top 50 by most publications at the time of his debut and probably hasn't improved on that stock since then. Should be noted that Arcia was an uber prospect in his own right at one time. Sometimes it just doesn't happen.

That said, Urias is still quite young for this level with plenty of talent to continue developing. Hopefully we see the investment pay off in the next few years. But he does have to hit. Seeing him turn into another Arcia would not be a successful result of the trade.

Hiura’s strikeouts are alarming

He’s no Braun. He’s Rickie Weeks, maybe.

Seven out of our nine starters are batting under the Mendoza line, that is truly astounding. I realize some guys are going to get off to slow starts, but is there one single hitter on this roster that benefits from the tutelage of Andy Haines?

Considering that the guy you want him to replace had a .282 average last year, I’m not sure you’re helping your case.

He was ranked #23 prior to the 2019 season. I'm not sure what your definition of uber prospect is, but a top 30 guy in all of MLB is pretty high. Urias's offensive profile in the minors is sizably more robust than anything Arcia ever did.

Due to the nature of this season they won't make a move before the end of the year but Haines has to go after the season.

Alcides Escobar was also a top 20 MLB prospect. Still I have plenty of hope for Urias but Grisham looks like he may very well be a very good big league hitter.

Well, actually I would like him to replace Gamel ... I will give Garcia some leash. :)

Always amazing to me how bad the last guy is on your roster. I mean, this guy is terrible.

My biggest gripe with this team's offense this season is all the 2-strike takes for strike 3. Can't Haines teach these guys some bat control, choking up with 2 strikes and battling to stay alive and put the ball in play while sacrificing some big swings and/or hopes for walks? The overall philosophy of hitting with two strikes seems deeply flawed for this team. That would seem to be on the hitting coach ... right?

Escobar, like Arcia, was a young, flashy glove man coming up through the minors. Urias has never fit that profile. His bat always carried his prospect status. He isn't Arcia or Escobar.
