What's going on with Urias? He's out with COVID-19, right? Wasn't that several weeks ago now?

Here he is in Appleton yesterday. Surprised they haven’t called on him, I guess the fact Mathias can play more positions (including OF) might have been the reason they went with him for the recent call up.

I guess color me baffled. We gave up a really good young player and a decent pitcher to get him. I can't believe he isn't a big immediate part of our plans.

He missed most of spring training with a broken wrist. He missed all/most of summer camp with COVID-19. Is it really baffling that he's not getting called up straight away?

Obviously we intend on turning Hader into a traditional 1 inning closer, which i think is a bad move.

Not sure where this thought is coming from on this board. This is the only game all year that made sense possibly using him multiple innings.

I think they need to give Manny more games behind the plate even with righty's on the mound.

He calls a better game and is light years better defensively.

I know it’s risky, but I originally thought they might have Narvaez DH a couple of times a week so Piña could catch more games.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Not sure what Urias' wrist would have to do with him not getting called up now. Would have made sense back in April, but that's been healed for a long while.

He didn't face any live pitching in either training camp. Players need some time to get up to full speed, hence the reason there is spring training (and now this year summer camp) in the first place. Plus we don't really know how affected he was by COVID. Young and fit people usually don't suffer too badly from it, but some still do. Possible he was set back by that too.

CC said he was asymptomatic. Said he was frustrated because he felt great.

I've been an Adrian Houser fan ever since the Brewers acquired him. It's nice to see a guy I get attached to have success and become a player. It hasn't happened often enough ;)

Can we finally put to bed the idea that he isn't a starter? He was masterful against a very good lineup tonight. I wish Counsell would have sent him out for the 8th.
