If anyone is looking for a bit of hope going into tonight, the Brewers’ current active roster has a .319 AVG / .333 OBP / .511 SLG / .844 OPS line against Dallas Keuchel in 107 at bats. Avisail Garcia has had the most at bats against him (8-for-23).
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Maybe don’t put the guy with a career OBP below 300 in the lead off spot against a lefty again. And maybe Hader doesn’t need to be used literally only when it’s a save situation, which is seemingly going to be pretty rare

Garcia has been a pleasant surprise this year. But we need Yeli to get going (and nearly everyone else)...

If by surprise you mean the only guy hitting like how you would expect...yes, surprise he is.

Right ... Garcia has been consistent throughout the majority of his career so far. He's not going to ever going to be an MVP-type, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him make an All-Star team or two before he's done. He's a solid player, very much in that Geoff Jenkins/Jeromy Burnitz mold.

He has been walking more than usual but hasn't shown much power but will probably ultimately end up right around the 830 OPS he has right now.

One irony of Ryon Healy batting lead-off is he’s one of the few hitters on the current roster that has struggled against Dallas Keuchel for his career (4-22, no extra base hits, 8 strikeouts).

That is the worst lineup imaginable.

I look forward to the 10 run outburst tonight.

You say worst lineup, I think "send them against the Bucks and watch them win" like the G League Nets team did yesterday. :laughing

Amazing how pathetic a lineup can look like when you remove just one regular.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 1999 Milwaukee Brewers.

Vina, Cirillo, Jenkins, Burnitz, Nilsson, Loretta, the '99 team had a great offense, it was their pitching that was awful. This lineup is 2002 territory.
