2020-07-24 (Opening Day): Brewers (Woodruff) at Cubs (Hendricks) [Brewers lose, 3-0]

Eye Black
Woodruff should pretend he’s facing Yelich.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

There was the first strike called a ball thanks to poor framing.

Likely the first of many...

Last three years, Yaz/Pina/Kratz combined for about +27.7 framing runs. Omar came in around -22.2 over the same time.

Hendricks was the perfect pitcher for the Cubs today. Hitters lack timing to start the year and Hendricks lives by disrupting timing and moving the ball around the zone. Hopeful we will settle in as the game goes on.

Dunston is SS. Ernie Banks has the most overall with 17 (not counting Anson butt bb-ref only has opening day starters since 1901) but he split between SS and 1B

Sosa is correct for RF.

CF is from Wisconsin
