According to ESPN, Buehrle has resigned with the Sox. I think Williams finally realized what a great "hometown" deal they were getting from Buehrle. Interesting "escalator" clause.

 

One might think that this makes Dye more available than before.

At least he won't be joining the Cardinals next season. There were a lot of rumors he wanted to go there because he is from that area.
