I am convinced that anyone on this board is better at managing the clock than Anthony Lynn

Vikings just gave up two scoop and scores on two consecutive offensive snaps. Delightful.

And still won. Ugh. Matt Rhule did a terrible job of managing the clock those last couple minutes. He botched that game away.

They stopped the clock inside of 4 minutes for the 1 timeout Vikes FOUR TIMES. Vikes scored with 45 seconds left to take the lead.

Yes, nice throw on 3rd down. Clock would have kept running.

I would have run the ball on 3rd down down there, then run it on 4th down again. Your absolute worst case scenario is the Vikings get it back down 3 with a minute left backed up at their own goalline and needing to go 70 yards just to tie or 100 to win with no timeouts.

Ty Hill has 203 receiving yards...in the first quarter.

Brady is having trouble throwing big boy passes.

I've always found it incredible that Norm Van Brocklin's single game passing record of 554 yards has stood since 1951 throughout NFL eras that have been pass dominant. Every time a QB gets an early 300 like this, I always end up expecting that this is the day it finally falls.

Who cares about that? We have a quarterback today that might throw for zero yards.

Mahomes has a shot. Needs less than 200. Hopefully TB can keep it within 10 for most of the 2nd half.

I still don't see any of the NFC teams beating the Chiefs or Steelers.

Packers run defense is laughable at best. Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, and Cardinals are all inconsistent offensively or defensively. The Bucs are an enigma they should be better offensively but are not for some strange reason. The Saints biggest question is will Brees be healthy enough? NFC East is just lol.

At this point I would just like to see us have the opportunity to play in the Super Bowl and worry about what our chances are against the Chiefs or Steelers once we get there.

How does NO only score 31 vs the Broncos today? 1 single Completion by the WR-QB and 2INTs. That punter must be All-Pro.

Because Taysom Hill looked like ... well ... Taysom Hill. I expect him to look like a legit NFL QB again next weekend against the Falcons, but the Broncos have a decent defense.

Patricia has a degree in like aeronautical engineering or something like that. So he's not dumb....maybe he's just book smart?

Perhaps describing how the spin on the ball helps the flight path of the ball doesn't help generate an appropriate offense/defense? Or perhaps I've missed my calling as an NFL head coach since I also have an engineering degree... Maybe I'll apply for the Packer DC next year. :laughing

The Jags fired their GM.

Feels like more than typical in-season firings thus far. I have nothing to back that up beyond my perception, however.

It's about time GMs are starting to be held accountable for their teams' failure. Coaches get fired after two seasons because they can't get 11-5 seasons out of 5-11 talent.

No Bears QB has ever thrown for 4,000 yards or 30 TDs in a season.

Aaron Rodgers this year:

Aaron Rodgers has completed 68.5% of his passes for 3,100 yards, 33 touchdowns and 4 INTs (117.6 passer rating).

There are five games left in the regular season.

Yup. That's called putting the horse before the cart. Right now the Packers are still cleaning the saddle.

One of the Steelers or Chiefs has to actually make the Super Bowl themselves first. While both are really good, they have both played some close games against teams that aren't that great. One will have to win against three great opponents in a row and the other will have to win two games in a row. There are a lot of great teams that could take them down. The Titans with Henry are probably the biggest threat to go on a run.
