2020 Fantasy Baseball Thread

If this season gets under way, fantasy baseball will follow.

 

My 4 leagues haven't drafted yet, we are waiting on official word of a start date.

 

My biggest question as far as keepers are concerned are Vlad Jr. and Yorden Alvarez.

 

Is Alvarez a total beast that would be a giant mistake not to keep?

 

Is Vlad the real deal after his completely unimpressive season last year?

 

I wanted to keep Hiura really bad, but I'm thinking that Alvarez over Hiura is the smart play. Need to keep my heart out of fantasy baseball. lol

I think there is risk with both of them. Neither has a lot of major league experience. Alvarez only had 10 games in the OF. Will be DH eligible in some leagues. Hiura a high BABIP. But all Hiura has done is hit no matter where he has played. Plus is eligible at 2B which is not as deep as the OF. And will steal some bases for you and Alvarez will not. My money is on Hiura in the short term at least. Wish I had him in our league.
