I hope Rodgers retires.

Me too. That way the Jordan Love era can begin already.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

BPA rules, I guess.

Was Dillon the bpa?

Obviously he was on Gute and LaFleur's board, which is all that matters. They might be accused of reaching, but certainly not reaching for need, lol.

I hope Rodgers retires. A RB? Take the ball out his hands even more. Tanking. Thats the only explanation. Gute is done with the Rodgers' era and hes drafting a team so he build around Love 4years from now. 3picks. Zero 2020 starters.

Hyperbole much?

Dillon is a tremendous athlete. Jones, Dillon and Williams will make a fun 3-headed RB monster. Heard rumors this offseason that the Packers wanted to update the backfield.

Dillon is a load, though. Jones has the wiggle, and Dillon is going to bring the thunder.

MLF likes to run the ball. If he's another Eddie Lacy, it's not a bad pick at all.

I think what this means is that Bakh and Clark will be resigned come hell or high water and they are letting the others (Jones, King, Linsley, etc.) walk.

So expect a CB or center to be drafted next.

Lacy didn't have near the athletic profile Dillon does. Dillon is more a Derrick Henry/Eddie George type.

Would it really be that nuts at this point to trade Rodgers for a massive haul, sign Jameis Winston to a 2 year deal and move forward?

Yes.

Hypothetically...If the Raiders come calling with some crazy overpay, say 4 firsts and 2 seconds, you're saying no?

I would drive Aaron to the airport myself. Definitely would not sign Winston however.

I mean honestly, why not at this point?

:laughing This was a good one.

Instead of just giggling, why not explain why you think that would be a bad idea?

They obviously drafted Love to be the QB of the future.

Aaron's play has clearly slipped the last few years.

They're probably looking at a 2-3 year window with Rodgers now before they'd either have to turn to Love or trade him.

If Rodgers wanted out and you got massive offers for him now, why wouldn't it be worth considering?

No reason to really go into it. It’s not going to happen. I think you know why it’s pretty silly. You’re looking to bait a debate on their draft because you’re not happy. It’ll be okay.

No, I actually was just seriously spitballing it. I'm not afraid to debate unconventional strategies that may seem extreme if the long-term payoff is possible, and this draft has certainly been anything but conventional. I do realize it has very little chance of happening, but I don't mind discussing hypotheticals that seem unlikely. I'm sure the chance of Brett Favre being traded sounded nuts to most back in 2005.

But if you'd rather just roll out the emojis and laugh and tell me what I'm doing rather than productively respond to the question, that's fine. You do you.

I'll give you credit, you will accept any crap for the team you root for. Gay, Chin, Wilson better picks than this guy. Somebody ranked as a late 3rd early 4th. We have a RB who led the NFL in TDs and youre fine with a 2nd round selection of one? Jones was a 5th round pick. REAAAAACHHHH

I guess I should’ve just responded a productive “yes” to your original post and you wouldn’t be all twisted up right now.
