Man, every time I hear of one of these guys who played in the 80's passing away, it's like a piece of my childhood is being snatched from the past.

He lived nearly 30 years after having a malignant brain tumor removed. That's pretty remarkable. Double play partner of Tony Fernandez, who also recently died.

 

Tough days for Blue Jays fans and all of us old timers.
