Minor League Pay

I'm a big MLB The Show guy, and saw this today. My first thought was, I wonder if minor league players will be compensated for this? They certainly should be. In the past, if you played franchise mode, the minor leaguers would have fictious names/ratings if not on the 40 man. If they did get paid, it would be a nice little indirect way for them to earn a little extra $.

minor league players with six years of minor league service entering 2020 spring training who were expecting to be eligible for free agency after 2020 can become free agents if not added to the 40-man roster.
