2020 Brewers Promotional Calendar

It makes sense to announce the promos before the tickets go on sale since that is the point. This list usually comes out WAY earlier, around December 6-10, but it would be kind of weird to have a bunch of people upset they purchased tickets already when a lot of people buy based on the promos. This year the announcement is bunched pretty close together with single-game sales in mid Feb.

Package holders can submit their games as early as October so those people get a heads up on specific games. The dates have been known for quite some time, just not the items.

It's about what I expected. The two-part Yelich should be neat, hoping that it links together or something. As a collector I always hope for some creativity but I realize these are made for the general public so it's going to be a lot of Brauns, Yeliches and Younts. The t-shirts should be really popular.

Also of note is that they dropped from all-fan to 35k. I think that is a good move as it will ease up the cluster at the gates right at the start time.

Expect more theme nights and special bobbles to be announced later.

Pretty lame bobble list. Every single one of those players has had bobbles (most multiples) already.

Boring.

There aren't a ton of good options for a first time bobble. Hiura is probably the best one(they probably should have given him one). You can't have unproven rookies or $5 million/year free agents as bobbles.

If you're going retro though, it was a good opportunity to do a Nieves, a Cirillo, etc. They had a perfect excuse finally do some of those but went with the same retreads. I totally get why from a sales perspective, but if they didn't do it now it's probably never happening.

Sit tight on Hiura. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they did some Asian heritage night (aware he was born here) or something. Or find a way to work him in on Super Hero night. There are almost no announced theme nights outside Star Wars so he might still get one.

I think the June 25 & 26 weekend looks pretty great, with the return of all of the Wall of Honor guys. There should be some player signings around town, besides those who sign at the games.

Otherwise, I think the giveaways look pretty uninspired. Like they are stuck in a bobble & tshirt mode.

Still, they'll probably sell out those dates, so it works for them.

Wish these bobble's would be big moments from their decades, but I somewhat doubt it...probably just boring. What an opportunity squashed.

I assumed that was the reason Yount was picked for the 90's with his 3,000 hit and Molitor the 80's for the 39 game hit streak.

Molitor's 39 game hit streak was already commemorated in the SSH bobble a couple years ago.

You mean to tell me that they are going to give him a second bobblehead for that accomplishment, and they are not going to give Nieves a bobble for the only official no hitter in our team's 50 year history?

Their bobble choices are always so willy nilly.

They never did finish the racing sausage set #2, left the brat out.

A diving Yount and you still get the no hitter reference. Hank Aaron for his last homer. 2000s is tough as they already did a CC one. Maybe a Braun grand slam bobble? 2010s seems like a logical one to get a current guy in the mix with Woodruff’s HR.

I don’t know, so many options. I was hoping they would do some cool ones after the SSH poster was mostly guys in their memorable moments.

I agree it has already been done but just for SSHs. Everybody that wants a regular old 80's Molitor bobble already has one so that is why I figured it had to do with his streak.

I always thought the way Gomez slid across the plate to walk off Arizona in the playoffs would have made a great 'moment' bobblehead. Him flying around 3rd and hook sliding around the catcher will forever be burned in my brain.

The pitcher trying to kick it and missing is what is burned in my brain from that play. Once it got past the pitcher you knew Gomez was scoring. What a great play in history. The 2008 run was great, but something about winning a postseason series was the kind of relevance I craved.

I was at that game with my brother and sister. It is one of the few moments of my life where, with alcohol or head injury not playing a factor, I truly do not remember what happened. I remember the single and Gomez scoring and then the next thing I know I am about 2 rows up and 6 seats to the left hugging random people and the crowd was so loud there was a deafening hum, if that makes sense. But there are legitimately 10 seconds there that I don't remember. I call it my euphoric blackout.

I was listening to the Big Show yesterday and Bill Schmidt was drooling over the bobble choices. He even said something like "this is the most that they've ever given away!"

I had to write the show immediately and tell him he was very wrong. Those that know me on these threads know my opinion on the overkill of bobbleheads. Unless they did a bobble of me, I don't care who they do it of. That ship has long sailed for me.

Looking forward to seeing what those t-shirts look like. That's much more intriguing to me. They're doing an 80's ringer shirt and OMG that could be the greatest giveaway ever.

pretty interested to see who they bring in for their "90's concert".

The Violent Femmes were also a part of either decade surrounding the 90s but I could see the nice Milwaukee connection there.

Get ready for a Gufs reunion!!! (Maybe that shouldn't be in blue)

A team in the AL West with the Astros should have a bobble head of one of their pitchers celebrating and have a miniature Altuve bobble sitting on the ground with a sad look on his face with a buzzer on his jersey and a trash can next to him.

That would be bobble head gold!
