But he does have a Davante Adams, an Aaron Jones, and a top tier offensive line.

I thought the Packers offensive weapons weren’t any good?

Says who? If you've read my posts on the Packer offense, I've been on record repeatedly as saying that with Adams, Jones, and this offensive line, Rodgers should be able to get this offense to play at a much higher level than he does. Yes, they need to add a receiver this offseason but there are some solid pieces already in place.

Sorry, I know I was responding to you on that but it really wasn’t directed at you. And yes, you have 100% been on the elite OL all year long and I also agree that Jones is a weapon when we use him. But I know you’ve read the IGTs all year and lots here have said our offensive weapons are essentially trash.

You did, however, say that Garoppolo was certainly playing at a higher level than Rodgers and it isn’t true. He also has a comparable WR in Samuels and we have nobody like Kittle. Yet Rodgers has similar TDs and yards with significantly less picks.

With that said, Rodgers has had a year that I’m sure everybody would agree isn’t up to what we hoped it would be and he was missing receivers all over the field today. Some of those we just off and some were pretty bad.

So you're using a stat comparison to show that Jimmy G isn't playing at a higher level than Rodgers but then you compare Deebo Samuel to Davante Adams? Come on, that's nuts. Deebo is a rookie WR with a lot of promise. Davante has been one of the top WRs in the league for several years. The 49ers don't have a Davante Adams WR equivalent. Not yet.

Seeing Metcalf and Samuel star in this game makes be long for what could have been. Not that Savage and Jenkins haven't been very good, but it sure would be nice to have one of those guys opposite Adams.

I was clamoring for Metcalf in the draft. I was in the minority.

I thought the guy was simply a workout warrior. I was wrong. He's a stud.

So if the 49ers find a way to lose this game are they somehow the most formidable 5th seed team ever, or is seattle now really good at football again? I'm having a hard time keeping up...

Huge credit to their offense for willing them to this. That was an unbelievably stupid penalty by Garland for the 49ers though.

I would take a five seed team over almost any four seed and some third seed teams every year.

I meant Sanders. And this year, they are pretty close overall. I think Adams is better than Sanders but Kittle to anything we have at TE is much larger.

I have no idea how Seattle manages to repeatedly snatch victory from the jaws of defeat but they appear to be on their way to doing it again.

Botched onside kick recoveries and opponents taking dives after interceptions? Perhaps poor defense on two point conversions?
