The 49ers are set up to own the NFC for the next 3 or 4 years

Let's take a step back and see if they actually win tonight first before giving them the next 3 super bowls, ok? It's still Jimmy G at qb.

What's wrong with Jimmy G? He's certainly performing at a higher level than our quarterback.

How many playoff wins does he have again? How many playoff games has he started again? Not saying he is bad, just not experienced at all in postseason play.

Seattle is on their fifth string RB. They are built to run kinda like Minnesota. Without a run game they are just bad on offense

No matter what happens we should just be grateful to have a bye followed by a home playoff game. If tiebreakers went by the eye test we'd be playing next week for sure. Maybe we'll get lucky and SF will get bounced in the divisional. Of course we might lose as well. The thought of going up against Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and potentially Antonio Brown in our first playoff game is pretty terrifying.

I don’t know... their numbers look pretty close to me and Rodgers doesn’t have a Kittle to catch the ball.

I would rather take on them especially in the cold at Lambeau then I would the 49ers and that defense.

Call me crazy but I think the Packers will compete with NO if they get them. The Packers defense isn't the same awful one anymore and that's going to be a cold game against a very old QB leading a dome offense on a slow track. It's the best possible way to play that Saints team. The defenses are somewhat similar, both bend but don't break.

If Minnesota is healthy I think their game with NO will be fun.

Jimmy is not that spectacular. That team is held up by its defense, not him. I've watched probably half of SF's games and he does throw the ball into traffic quite a bit. The problem is precisely that Rodgers hasn't been any better. But I wouldn't say he's surely been better than our guy. They're kinda the same actually. Decent on paper but pretty middle of the pack. The QBR reflects that.

I am really hoping Minnesota can pull it off as that would also give us the Philly/Seattle winner.

But he does have a Davante Adams, an Aaron Jones, and a top tier offensive line.

I thought the Packers offensive weapons weren’t any good?

Says who? If you've read my posts on the Packer offense, I've been on record repeatedly as saying that with Adams, Jones, and this offensive line, Rodgers should be able to get this offense to play at a much higher level than he does. Yes, they need to add a receiver this offseason but there are some solid pieces already in place.

Yeah, I'm getting tired of that line myself. Do they have a WR problem? Sure. But that alone doesn't explain Rodgers. He is flat out missing guys when they have a step. He's overthrowing, under-throwing, and sometimes just not seeing them.

The season they lost Nelson and Jones led the team in yards, he looked better than this.

Yep. They could use more weapons, sure. But they do have a solid RB, a WR1 and an elite offensive line. When you overthrow 16 passes in one game, none of that really matters.
