NRI candidates

I've mentioned in another thread but I think think Tyler Thornburg would be a good NRI candidate. Greg Holland is 34 and struggled hard this past year but if he isn't given a major league contract I would definitely give him a chance to compete for us in camp. Matt Bush is another one.

 

Who else should we take a flyer on to see them compete? Any possible corner infielders?

My guess is they will bring in a veteran catcher for camp for sure. An Erik Kratz type.

 

They'll probably also bring in a SP like they did with Miley and Tomlin the past couple years.

 

These guys aren't completely uninteresting and might be minor league- NRI types:

Chad Bettis

Danny Salazar

JC Ramirez

Tyson Ross

I'd like to see Stearns sign Wood and Walker to small contracts and take a chance. Both could be great finds or DFA'd. I'd definitely like to see Salazar NRI.
