Regarding the punt return and penalty that benefited the Packers:

I thought the returner gets a 2-hard halo to make a catch? Patterson was within a single yard of Williams when he caught the punt. Also, FOX had a really crummy camera angle on that play. I don’t know why they insist on filming behind the returner in their live shots. I hope Ervin is OK.

I feel like it was one of those the hit was so violent the refs felt there had to be a flag type call.

We started the third down with 2 timeouts, not that it mattered but we should have still had one to call a timeout if that 4th down was completed?

Absolutely pitiful clock management by MLF and Rodgers. You're sitting at the 36 with 2 timeouts and a minute plus, you run a dumb dive run, manage to piss away 45 seconds of clock before the 3rd down snap and go backwards.

WAKE UP. It's like asking for miracles to get this offense to cash in on anything.

That was horrible play calling and clock management.

What a dumb ending to that half, how is it grounding when the guy has a hold of his arm? Adams was out there and that it didn't get to the LOS was because his arm was held. Stupid of Rodgers to let it get to that point anyway. Same old crap, 3 times we got inside the 50 with no points. hopefully we can gut out a win again.

Why wouldn't it be grounding if he has hold of his arm?

It doesn't matter if a player has the QB's arm or not the ball has to reach the line of scrimmage or it is grounding.

I remember his first couple years Davante Adams was a drop machine and not a great route runner, but dude was obviously physically gifted. I'm not comparing MVS to Adams directly, but he's obviously physically gifted.

This receiving corps aside from Adams is crap. I still kinda hold out hope that MVS takes his physical tools and turns into something more than what he is, because we really need some help on offense.

I think Lazard is pretty good. I also think Rodgers relies way too much on Adams. That 4th down play (non TD play) he had Lazard open but stared down Adams the whole time.
