If the rumors are true, Gute needs to seriously think about trading for OBJ.

 

I was just thinking that. He’s a cancer, but if you can’t sign an all-pro WR and won’t be in position to likely draft one, what is the alternative? Do you roll the dice on a winning culture keeping OBJ in check?

Not really a gift. Just the right call.

 

The gift is that he somehow managed to go down from a little slap, nullifying his later contactless fumble. Yeah, it's the right call, but I'd call that a gift.

If this team somehow finds a way to win out, that’s going to be quite an achievement, because they look like poop. I’m at the point where I’ll be thrilled if they win 2 of 3, and am realistically expecting a blowout loss in Minneapolis and two really close games against Chicago and Detroit. Those are coin flips as far as I’m concerned. This offense is a mess.

I think it's pretty safe to say that all 3 games are going to be close. The Vikings are nothing special.

I also thought the same thing this afternoon. If they draft defense with their FRP, the guy will just wind up being a turd. Rodgers has 1-2 good years left. Go all in.
