Why is it surprising? Tatis played a similar amount, and was a better hitter, baserunner and defender than Hiura. Even without him you could make a case for Chris Paddack, Bryan Reynolds and maybe some others to be ahead of Hiura. Which isn't to say those guys are better or will have better careers than Hiura, but they were more productive in 2019.

Agreed.. if Hiura's d was gold gloveish, he's top 3, not now. Maybe top 5 or 6 now...
