And this is the EXACT model for why replay has ruined sports.

This should be an absolute endorphin rush thrilling stop and win, but we are all going to sit here calmly and wait for verification that we won.

It has removed that element from the game.

Disagree.

Agree.

Nobody was calm while waiting for that review.

I was honestly 100% calm because it seemed obvious enough it wasn't getting overturned at home. That should've been a moment every Packer fan yelled and jumped in their living room and those stupid verifications suck the emotion out. Instead we have all been conditioned to wait for 6 replays. It absolutely sucks, IMO. You even said you weren't celebrating yet. It shouldn't be that way and was more fun to watch when it wasn't that way. No, my adrenaline wasn't pumping while I waited 5 minutes for them to decide if we won.

I thought he probably got in live, but on the one back of the endzone replay I dont think he made it and they got the call right. I'm much happier that we got the win and it was "confirmed"(by me since it was call stands), then to have no replay and find out they blew the call and feel less good about the win.

Honestly feel pretty good about that W. Packers didn't play all that great and still beat a decent team. Absolutely have to clean up those pre-snap penalties. Just killers. And I didn't really like the offensive game plan. Rodgers seems to be falling into that "wait on the deep guy" mindset again.

No reason not to feel good about that win, Allen has played pretty well all year and the Packers did a lot of good things. Time to root for Dallas.

Meh ... I won’t be too much of a sad sack because I’m happy they’re 8-2, but they were also the beneficiaries of an unforced fumble and a tipped interception.

You have every right to look at this team however you want. Their talent level is much the same as a lot of the other teams but the fact that they’ve found their way to an 8-2 start has given them a great opportunity to do something special. Enjoy it a little bit.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying this season ... just proceeding with an abundance of caution.

The way I see it, why be cautious? At this point if they go get knocked around in the 2nd round of the playoffs what do people have to complain about? 6-8 win predictions were pretty valid. It's like people forget this team hasn't made the playoffs in 3 years. This was not a team that was supposed to push for the NFC title by most realistic perspectives. Winning their division is a successful season.

The only team in the NFC that clearly looks better is San Francisco and they play them in 2 weeks.

I...do not get that call.

Simple. On the road, TD wins it instead of ties it. Unconventional, but not without logic. Analytically not much difference between going for 1 or 2 anyway with a likely slight advantage to going for 2.

It looks stupid now but would look genius if it had worked and they end up winning 25-24. One of those calls that is totally dependent on whether it works or not. I'd tend to trust my offense picking up two yards against our D too.

And that's why I get that call vs the go for a TD AT home with 2secs left in the first half. Home/Away playcalling. Considering how the game had played out to that moment, to call go for it would indicate to me you didn't believe your defense could stop them nor could your offense score enough more with a 10pt lead. I hope this is a 1st yr coach blunder and he learns from it.

No drama if we had kicked the FG to end the 1st half.

That’s all I was thinking on that last drive.

It simply can't be assumed that everything plays out the exact same in the second half. Different deficits, different game plans, everything. It's like in baseball when a guy gets caught stealing to end an inning and then the guy at the plate leads off the next inning with a HR and people are upset. But you just don't know how it might have played out differently.
