I imagine most readers here at Brewerfan are regular listeners of Matt Pauley's weekly Brewers Extra Innings podcasts.

Brad Ford of BrewCrewBall broke down all the levels of the system in one conversation that was split over three weeks of broadcasts. Do catch up with Matt for the full podcasts, especially the most recent from Monday night 12/2 (Rookie Level), but here are your links and starting points for the minor league chats --

AAA and AA (07:00 minute mark)

High-A and A-Ball (14:45 minute mark)

Rookie Level (20:00 minute mark)

Adding to the list:

The "Locked on Brewers" podcasts

By the way, Tim Allen's WSSP "Hot Stove Weekly" broadcasts have been killing it, with 90-minute commercial-free after-show podcasts archived that are jammed with interviews from start to finish. Nice chat with Brandon Woodruff (14:15 minute mark) on the latest episode.

Over the past week, each of the links above has provided at least one new podcast with the exception of the Journal Sentinel, although Tom Haudricourt spoke with Mike Heller this week (96:30 minute mark).

The Athletic has an article about Robin Yount for their list of 100 greatest baseball players in 100 days, Yount comes in at #66. Subscription required.

https://theathletic.com/1544628/2020/01 ... bin-yount/

Fun little tidbit, beginning of the article briefly mentions his brother Larry Yount who was called up to the Houston Astros in 1971, entered a game to pitch his major league debut but noticed that his elbow started hurting while throwing his warm up pitches. He had to leave the game without throwing a pitch, never to return to the big leagues.

His official big-league career line: 1 game, 0.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 walks, 0 strikeouts, 0 batters faced. He is the only pitcher in baseball history to have that line. Crazy. I had never heard that story before.
