I think it's gonna be a whole lot of dink and dunk for Rivers.

I think the back to back weeks of the Pack traveling West and the performance against a short handed KC gives Vegas pause.

Was it really a bad performance? I mean the spread was 5 so we did cover expectations on that end. I don't know who was thinking we were going to go into Arrowhead and blow the Chiefs out, even without Mahomes, but I sure wasn't.

It was definitely a bad second quarter. But I thought Moore played well and the Chiefs came in with a good gameplan. Would still like to see much better defensive performances for sure.

Chargers firing OC Ken Whisenhunt could be a major wildcard. There’s potential for some unscouted looks and players being used differently on that side of the ball, and who knows how that will go. Not sure if I find that comforting coming off another shaky defensive performance from the pack.

I personally think the Chargers are a team that's soundly better than their record. They also have several match-up problems, namely Austin Ekeler out of the backfield and Hunter Henry at TE, along with a smart, veteran QB with a quick release in Rivers. This is going to be a tough game for the Packers.

I didn't think the Packers defense was all that bad on Sunday. That team is really good offensively even without Mahomes. They got lucky he wasn't there, sure, but McCoy, Kelce and Hill are not schlubs. They got the game-changing TO and when they had to put their foot down at the end, they did.

Game plan worked vs KC. Sit back and give them the under stuff, make it tough to get into the end zone. Blown coverage on Kelce's TD and Williams penalty/dropped INT were 11-14 points there. I'm sure it was tempting to blitz a statue like Moore, but they respected all the speed KC has. Only blitzed like twice that I recall. I think we'll see a lot more blitzing vs Rivers, another statue. But I agree, Chargers are not an automatic win by any means.

They've got a ton of talent. I don't know how they can be so bad again. I thought this was the toughest two game stretch of the season. @KC and @LAC. Playing without Mahomes helped, but the Chargers just aren't very good for some reason, yet I still wouldn't be surprised to see them beat us.

Packers win the next two, then a bye, then @ San Fran. That's gonna be a great game.

Maybe we get Raven Greene back for that one? Kittle, Coleman, another game with a very good offensive mind and a lot of athletic ability.

Jamal Adams would have been awesome since the Jets for some random reason were willing to trade a young.

I hated Eli Manning for how he pushed his way out of SD, but ultimately he made the right choice. Rivers is a far better QB, but unfortunately, the Chargers kill the career of good QBs. Dan Fouts too.

Or maybe with Eli he has those two good years instead of Rivers who's been good every year and he helps the Chargers win a couple SB's.

I don't understand what is wrong with this organization. They've gone through so many coaches, good coaches in many cases, they just always seem to struggle and then have to go on a crazy run to get into the playoffs. And occasionally they'll go 12-4 like last year or 4-12 like when they drafted Bosa.

But they SEEM really well run from a distance in terms of the talent they're able to churn out. They also seem like one of the most injured teams every single year.

The one area they've never really been great at is their OL. It seems like they've been good everywhere else during Rivers tenure but never a great OL. I guess it helps he has a Marino-esque release and is able to get that ball out quickly and in traffic.

It’s crazy to think the Chargers got the better QB out of that exchange, plus Shawne Merriman for their trouble.

Even crazier still: They already had Drew Brees. They could have taken Larry Fitzgerald #1 overall (he went #3 overall in 2004).

Crazy to look back at the QB movement of the old days. Easily forgotten Brees started out in San Diego and the wacky Rivers/Manning swap.

Chargers traded off 2 QBs that went on to win Super Bowls elsewhere.

Things like this simply don’t happen anymore.

This is no gimmie. Rivers can slice and dice any secondary. He's not mobile but he gets rid of the ball in a flash. They have had problems in run blocking, but Packers have been vulnerable on the ground and Gordon doesn't need much to break a long one.

Packers should be able to outscore them because their defense has been disappointing. Bosa has to be accounted for but they can be both run and passed on.

I see Packers 34 Chargers 26.

I’m nervous about this one. They’re going on the road against an elite QB with lots of weapons on offense. They also have the cloud of the Za’Darius Smith legal issue hanging over them (which will almost certainly result in a 2-game suspension at some point ... hopefully next year).

You’ve been nervous about all of them, right? If so, let’s keep that going.

Regarding Smith, he was ticketed over a month ago... I’m sure the team/his teammates have been aware of it for awhile. I doubt it’ll have any major impact until there would be a suspension.
