Brewers team store sale

I have a week off starting in about three hours, so whether it's the SO and me over the weekend or just me next week, I'm planning to swing by. I have no illusions there will be much available in my style and size, but I want to scout for Christmas gifts for the fam too.

(Also Kalle - don't worry, I've got your back.)

I won't be surprised if it's a lot of chaff that they've been wanting to move out - which would make me wonder what'll be left for the clubhouse sale that's usually the week after Thanksgiving.

I went yesterday around 4PM. It's on my way home from work so I can't speak as to whether it's worth a special trip but as far as I could tell it's everything that's normally there and it's all 50% off except for game used & authentic stuff. Much more worth checking out than the clubhouse sale IMO anyway. Good opportunity for Christmas gifts as mentioned and maybe a jacket or something that you had your eye for yourself on but didn't want to pay $200 for during the season. I got a couple postseason caps that were normally $28. Still probably overpriced at $14 but I wanted them for collection. Not to beat a dead horse but you really do realize how asinine the regular prices are on some of this stuff. I'll probably go again before it's over. Also I don't know if it's a what you see is what's available kind of thing or if they have more stock that they continually bring out. So keep that in mind if you plan on waiting a few days before going.

We were there Saturday evening and there were still polos. It's an excellent event for people who wear S, M or 2XL, but there are a few things in between if you poke around enough. There are also some Big and Tall racks, which I did not peruse.

I'd considered getting a postseason garment (mainly for the record, like Gyp above with the caps). The MKE and Let's get WILD shirts remaining were mainly in small sizes, and a third design wasn't very appealing to me. I did find a MKE hoodie in my size, which for a woman who's not a supermodel is no small feat. Sizing wise, I'm not going to 100% miss the Majestic era.

Some whole product lines that I either usually see in the store or expected to see were just missing. One of my students asked me to look for a winter cap and there was nothing of the sort. That seemed weird since it's pretty much warm cap season, and there were some warm jackets. Other small lines like pins or headbands (I know, not the market for most of this board) were completely absent. I'm guessing they withheld some merchandise that won't be out of place in the new marketing scheme.

If you have kids who like stuffed animals, and you don't mind the cognitive dissonance of stuffed parrots, frogs or rhinoceroses (rhinoceri?) with a ball/glove logo...you would be in luck for this event, as those shelves were fully stocked.

I went right when it opened on Friday and went right to the hats. By the time I got to the hoodies the one I wanted was gone. I kicked myself for not checking those first, but I was alright with that. I mostly wanted to get a few more fitted hats. Got a Hiura player tee for myself in XL and a pretty good looking retro tanktop for my wife. Also grabbed some Stormin Gorman sauce when i got to the front of the line. Also considered getting another piggy bank, but it'd just be to flip it down the line, which doesn't seem worth the effort to make $15-$20 bucks.

Side note Hawing, there was a bunch of winter hats on Friday. Considered getting one of those too, but I already have a like five or six Brewers winter hats. In retrospect, another one wouldn't have hurt.

I think I'm gonna run over there after work and see if there is any new items they pulled out.
