I wanted them to draft TJ Watt too but King has had some great games and the defense has fallen off the cliff when he's been sidelined in the past. He's far from terrible. But bad take makers are going to make bad takes.

I don't understand the "Kevin King is terrible" take either, but it is strong in this fanbase.

He is certainly not terrible but he's not a top five DB either.

Probably a little bit above average for an NFL DB but he is still very young.

I don't know if anyone is calling for him to be a top five DB. He's solid, which I think is all you can expect from your #2 CB.

also nice to see Jimmy Graham have a nice game today. He looked a little quicker today than he has the last few weeks.

Last week Jimmy Graham literally looked like an elderly gentleman they plucked out of a nursing home. I don't know how he looked this week, but I saw in the box he had 4 catches for 60+ yards. Last week whenever he went down to the ground, he struggled to get back to his feet like a lifealert patient, and he looked like he was running in quicksand.

I don't know if it was the Raider's scheme or not, but Graham looked like he found the fountain of youth today. Actually beat the DB on his TD catch, and also had some YAC on a few of his other catches. He actually looked useful today.

Defense is concerning. Is Raven Greene back soon? Not that he's the end all be all but I think he'd help in run game and covering TEs at least.

Offense has found it's footing. Really fun to watch all the misdirection and motion. Such a great change from what we've become used to the last few years.

Greene is eligible to return week 11, but I havent heard anywhere how his injury is coming along.

Also, Josh Jackson may as well be cut tomorrow. A CB who literally can't cover anyone is not exactly the profile you're looking for on defense.

There was one play where he made a couple jukes and out ran a linebacker for about 15 yards. It was kinda shocking.

Who?

Jimmy Graham and it took me by surprise as well. It didn't look anything like the Jimmy Graham we've seen since he came to Green Bay.

It almost looked like Graham was playing with a little more fire yesterday. Perhaps he made a visit to Packers Twitter last week and saw the posts comparing him to a senior citizen and a tree stump? Whatever the case, I like the Jimmy Graham who plays with a chip on his shoulder.

What's funny about Graham, who has looked terrible most of this season, is that he quietly had a decent season in 2018. Their entire offense was awful and he still caught almost 60 passes for 600+ yards. He wasn't scoring, but nobody else was either. It's like people expected the 25-year-old version. But he wasn't nearly as bad as people act like he was.

Darren Waller is awesome. That guy made a few amazing moves/catches. I can't believe those were his first TDs of the year.

I was happy to see him put together a decent game. My favorite Jimmy Graham Twitter fodder last week was someone labeling him as an ‘expensive Richard Rodgers.’

I saw that one last week and thought it was pretty funny. I'm hoping that the lack of athleticism he showed last week was due to some sort of lingering injury, and that yesterday was perhaps the Graham we'll see the rest of the year. It wasn't like we had Ertz or Kelce out there yesterday, but if Graham continues to show effectiveness in his limited touches, it provides another weapon. It would be nice to get Tonyan back sooner rather than later as well.

I believe Sternberger is eligible to come of the IR to return list a couple weeks from now. I believe he's already practicing, and he'd be another potential athletic TE option that would be a weapon in the passing game if he could climb the depth chart a bit...

The only negative to yesterday is that Gutey probably thinks he's set at WR now. Getting a Sanders would really improve this team.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Rodgers' rating needs to be perfecter?

I get the sentiment, but I disagree. I'd rather roll with the young guys we have, and see them grow with the offense.

I don't think using Oakland as a gauge for our WR's is a good idea. Yes, yesterday was fantastic, but we have also seen what our WR's look like against good teams. Nabbing Sanders gives you a good 1-2 punch with Adams that is stable and then you can fill in the rest with the younger WR's.

Who said I was using yesterday as a gauge? I've always thought that giving young WRs like MVS, Lazard and Shephard a shot to shine, while mixing in role players like Allison, Kumerow and Grant would be more advantageous both short and long term than spending draft capital on rentals like AJ Green or Emmanuel Sanders. It's hard for me to advocate bringing in a older slot guy like Sanders (who has battled injuries the last few seasons) when they very easily could have spent much less money to bring Cobb back. I think this team has plenty of weapons at its disposal, especially when Adams gets back and MVS and Allison are back to full health.

The line for years has been that we don't need to pay Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb due to Rodgers making it work with lesser players, and we need to beef up the defense. We've done that, so we can't have it both ways. Can't expect to grab major DL/LB and then also back up the Brinks truck for a WR. Even a middling guy like Golden Tate got paid.

Great game to be at, awesome weather and 6 Packer touchdowns! Really great to see Rodgers spreading it around and not being stopped all day. MVS may never develop into a 6-7 catch a game guy but he seems like he could be a great deep threat and as long as we have good backs and TE's to throw to that will have a lot of value. Tough day for the D but as long as our corners and OLB's stay healthy I am still hopeful for improvement by seasons end there.

We got in line at the Onieda gate at 11:40 and didn't get in the door until about 12:05 and missed the first Raider drive while in line for beers. It's our own fault for not being a little earlier but geezuz, 25 minutes in line sucks, sort of reminder of what a pain in the ass going to the game can be when you can just stay home and watch on your HD TV. One positive after all the complaints about referee's was we went down at the 2 minute warning before half to hit the restroom and get food/beer as you can never get that all done during the 12 minute half. Line for the bathrooms was as long as I have ever seen but watched the first 2 Raider plays on the monitors and by the time they worked through the review of the fumble was in the concession line and got back to our seats with beers and brats in time to see the Kumerow TD catch. Thanks replay!

That last Raider TD drive was right in front of us, on the first play Jackson blew we were all screaming pick when the ball was in the air but somehow he didn't even get a hand on it. He was sort of visibly upset about it and I think it carried over to his awful missed tackle on the TD. I still have hopes for the kid but he is really struggling, no wonder he doesn't play in front of some of the other guys.
