Subero not returning

Replacing Hook would be the start of musical chairs. Need stability in some of these spots.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Wonder if Subero is interviewing for managerial jobs

i would be shocked if he got consideration from anyone. I think this is a case of the brewers wanting to improve their IF defense.

He has been rumored as a candidate for a few of the open manager positions.

That shouldn't be shocking, since Morosi Tweeted it last week and mentioned he is highly regarded in the league.

lol yep. In hindsight that's probably Subero's agent reaching out to Morosi and asking for a free plug lol.

Ultimately, I'm not sure how much this really matters as far as the Brewers in 2020 go.

I didn't see that tweet, my comment was based on the fact that I haven't heard of any interview requests as of yet. openings are going to start being filled very soon and it seems like each job as names linked to each and Carlos is nowhere on the list. I could be wrong (won' be the first time). I Know he has some international / minor league managerial experience so i guess it wouldn't be a total shock from that standpoint, but it still would be a leap to go from 1st base coach to manager.

Well teams aren't going to need to make requests to talk to him now. So it's possible that he flies under the radar.

After openly torching Arcia's defense and SS in general it isn't surprising Subero got axed.

He can't even manage 1st base coaching and infield coaching on a winning ballclub without getting fired...it would indeed be a little shocking if he actually got serious interest in a managerial position.

Probably Hiura's lack of improvement played into it as well.

I'm guessing this has a lot to do with Huira's and Arcia's defensive struggles.

I'm guessing it has nothing to do with that. Hiura was known to be a poor fielder, and Arcia didn't struggle in the field.

My guess, CC was intimidated by Subero's perfect flowing hair.
