2019-10-01 (NL Wild Card Game): Brewers (Woodruff) at Nationals (Scherzer) 7:08 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 4-3 -- Nationals score 3 runs in 8th inning; Heartbreaking end to 2019]

Eye Black

Dearest Abigail,

The vibrating steel rod seemed to have jammed as my butt hole slowly unclenched. Alas, it was a trap as it surged on towards my unsuspecting anus. The plane ride home will be a challenge.

Please stop being a fan with horrible takes like this.

No thanks. Hader is done. Just like Jeffress. Just like Turnbow. Just like the litany of 1-2 year relievers. Guy just cost us the division and season. He can go, I really couldn't care less. He sucked.

Honestly can't believe we lost. Three hours thinking NLDS and blows it the second he comes in.

You have had one crap take after another this week. Wow man, take a minute and maybe don't watch sports for awhile.

that sucked...I'd say they deserved better, but then again they probably didn't when you look a their whole 2019 body of work.

kinda fitting that the season ended due to the expose the gaping hole Knebel's injury in spring training left on this roster

Pen was this team's Achilles Heel all year, and bit them tonight.

I'd say the mismanagement of the team has been the heel. That was the case here too. CC seemed perfect all year last year. This year seemed to be a law of averages correction.

Feels like the end of the Hader era, maybe we should have tried to make him a starter, too late now probably

God no. He would give up 50 homers in a season

I don't think a one pitch starter is a thing either.

Well I think the one pitch thing came after he embraced the bullpen role, but i certainly didn't mean to start that debate tonight just feeling pretty down on him right now, tough loss but we probably didn't have a run in us anyway. Oh well.

I would call this a play-in game. No playoffs this year for us, but still a pretty great season all things considered. an 18-2 run I assume is the best in franchise history. We lost because our right fielder looked like the worst guy on my softball teams.

I’m so done with Hader

Lol at you blaming Hader like Grisham isn’t the worst person alive right now

What? He screwed up too.

Hader blew the game Saturday too. He was wild all inning. Did he throw a slider once?

The game would be tied if Grisham could handle a little league roller

My crap takes wound up 100% spot on, lmao. I said the last four days I absolutely hated Hader closing this game out. I said I hated bringing him in when they did in the game we had a chance to tie. I wanted Pomeranz in the 9th here.

Next year when Hader's era is over 5 you won't be calling it a crap take anymore. Over him, he is toast.

It wasn't just the pen. Almost every hitter in the lineup -- Moose, Hiura, Grisham, Cain, Braun, Arcia -- almost every single one came up tonight with a runner in scoring position. All failed to come through with a hit to drive that runner home.

It was a season long problem and it culminated in our elimination tonight.
