Oh well, stinks that a part of this was a bad call by the umps on the HBP that was a foul ball. I didn't expect us to make it past this round so can't say I'm too bothered.

yep - with Hader's lack of control he probably walks Taylor on the next pitch anyway, but that coupled with Zimmerman sawing one off to center extended the inning just enough for the Brewers to implode

I always said since they started the two wild card system that losing the wild card game wouldn’t feel like making the playoffs. Now I know why I felt that way. Over before it starts.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Dang, good season. Good luck Nats. The beauty of sports is that there is always next year.

Three seasons left with Yelich, hope they can make a serious run at the WS title before that time is up.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Feels like the end of the Hader era, maybe we should have tried to make him a starter, too late now probably

God no. He would give up 50 homers in a season

I don't think a one pitch starter is a thing either.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

that sucked...I'd say they deserved better, but then again they probably didn't when you look a their whole 2019 body of work.

kinda fitting that the season ended due to the expose the gaping hole Knebel's injury in spring training left on this roster

Pen was this team's Achilles Heel all year, and bit them tonight.

No way! A guy with one pitch he can't control is the best!

Hey at least we get another wildcard pennant at Miller Park

Just embarrassing. See you guys in the Hot Stove season.

It's times like these where the perspective of a 25+ playoff drought leads to celebrating a successful season. I hope they hang that banner because when I go to Miller Park, for a couple seconds I can think back on this season, and the joy it gave me.

Please stop being a fan with horrible takes like this.

No thanks. Hader is done. Just like Jeffress. Just like Turnbow. Just like the litany of 1-2 year relievers. Guy just cost us the division and season. He can go, I really couldn't care less. He sucked.

Honestly can't believe we lost. Three hours thinking NLDS and blows it the second he comes in.
