ops w/ risp

Getpaddled

anyone know a site that has the ball players OPS w/ RISP?

I am on a quest to find ball players who has the greatest difference between ops w/ RISP and w/out.

would you keep a guy who has a 1.100 ops w/ Risp

but has a .597 w/ out? - also want to find vice versa -

these type of players I like to call GAMERS

No, and yes.

First of all, a regular player is going to have three or four times as many ABs without RISP as they do with. Therefore, Guy 1 is gonna have a 700 OPS overall, while Guy 2 is gonna be Albert Pujols or Barry Bonds.

Second, RISP performance is generally not repeatable. If you need an example of that, look at Damian Miller's 2004 and 2005 numbers with and without RISP, and look at Brady Clark's 2005 and 2006 numbers with and without. If you can find a pattern, please let me know, because I don't see one.

You can just ESPN to look at any splits you want but you are going to see most of them bounce around seamingly randomly because they are. Also, OPS with runners on is going to be a bit different by default for all players/teams.
