I hope CC apologizes to the team and fans for this game.

This team has won 18 of 20. Give me a break.

No, CC needs to give us a break! This was inexcusable managing! Don't rest on laurels! Be intelligent! This is not a spring training game! Good grief!

Black was an iffy move, but they have been using him in higher leverage spots lately. Claudio and Jackson, who have been regulars in the relief corps, didn't do their jobs. They can't pitch the same 3 guys they trust every night.

On September 13th, the Cardinals beat us 10-0.

We went 11-1 in our next twelve games after that blowout loss until tonight.

Assuming we don't pull off the epic comeback & follow up this blowout loss with another 11-1 run, we'll be in the World Series.

Ok, this is getting a little much. Maybe he’ll get on that apology when you send him a hand-written thank you card for the whole month of September. Get real.

Such a card would go to the players, period.

Pomeranz!

Hader!

Suter!

Albers!

All these guys are better than Black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All these guys are better than Jackson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd take Peralta even over soft-tossing Claudio in that Colorado air any day!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude go for a walk.

If Ray Black pitches to me, I'll walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You disappear for all of their 18 of 20 stretch and return to post stuff like this? Yikes.

Some people just live to watch the world burn.

I didn't disappear! I've been enjoying this month as much as anybody!

Pomeranz and Hader both threw yesterday. Hader got a 4-out save. You still need help, even if you win. Throwing out either of those guys to protect a 1-run lead at COORS FIELD is nuts. You need them as fresh as possible for Tuesday if you have to play.

Peralta, okay. But he's been inconsistent as well. Albers has been bad lately. There is an argument to be made that leaving Davies in was the better choice. Reasonable minds can disagree. To act like it's ridiculous to pull him to pinch-hit in an RBI situation isn't the best approach in my view. We lost a game tonight. It was going to happen.
