We kinda sorta want the Phillies to hang around, i think 2 of 3 is ideal. We also definitely want the Dbacks to sweep the Padres this weekend so they have theoretical playoff hope when the Cardinals visit them early next week.

Amusing listening to the Cardinal announcers whine about how terrible they have been getting runners in from third with less than two out. Apparently the Brewers don’t have the market cornered on that.

 

ETA, I looked it up and the Brewers have the worst percentage in the NL at getting runners in from third with less than two out. The Cards are second worst.

Not against you but I hate assuming sweeps. I don’t give a crap how bad the pirates are playing. It’s hard to sweep people
