Let's hope!

too bad he can't be on the 2020 shuttle squad. That looks like it might just be Devin Williams at this point. Burnes and Peralta could end up on it too.

I'm pretty sure Bobby Wahl still has options. There are also some guys who need to be added to the 40-man roster to protect them from being taken in the Rule 5 draft who could be on the shuttle.

I am honestly not sure why Corbin Burnes is here, because they clearly have no intention of letting him pitch. Is it just a goodwill gesture to the future and his performance last year? You don't normally just burn money and service time for a guy to not play.

He is probably just working on things on the side with either the bullpen coach or the pitching coach.

Or against a trainwreck of an MLB team who has obviously given up.

Where is Wahl? Counsell had said back in July or August that he was ahead of Suter in his rehab. Well, Suter is here and I haven't heard a peep more about Wahl in awhile. Obviously he's not apparently returning this year, but you would have figured they would have said something in the last month.

meh.

I don't believe major league teams give up.

Players still want to succeed, sometimes their futures, and contracts, are in jeopardy.

I don't buy it when people say that teams, or players actually give up.

I suppose "given up" might be too harsh. They certainly look pretty listless playing out the string, though.

We're coming for you, Cubbies...

Ah wait, we're already 2 games up on you. Nevermind.

I'm kinda hoping the Cubs pull out the next two against the Cardinals now. That's about the only way the Brewers still have a shot at the division now.

Nah. We will let the d backs sweep the cards then the cubs whip them the last weekend

Let’s just get as far ahead of the cubs as we can this weekend. Finish them off
