Brault’s ERA took a hit with those wind blown hr’s given up last weekend. But, it doesn’t matter anyhow, I’d be shocked if the brewers lose any games this weekend. But it’s still baseball.

It’s been really comical listening to national talking heads commenting on the crew, talk about clueless. They really don’t know what to say, other than, gee, maybe they get in because of their easy schedule. We know it’s so much more than that, and if we get in, and I believe we will, we’re gonna be such huge underdogs, from the Play in game, if needed, to the Wild card game and beyond, that upset after upset will make it better than we ever could have imagined it could be. Here we go brewers-Here we go! For you youngins that’s the 82 chant at county stadium.

Brault has pitched pretty well against the Brewers this season. 2.66 ERA in 20.1 IP. 4 starts. He's been bad in his past two starts though.

Brewers really should be able to sweep this series given the way the Pirates have played in the second half and especially lately.

This is another guy that I don't understand why he has success against us. I feel like he throws almost all fastballs in the zone against us, and we just can't hit it. There's nothing overly special about it either, mediocre velocity and low spin rate.

Cain

Grandal

Moose

Braun

Hiura

Grisham

Austin

Arcia

Would seriously consider starting Pina again at catcher since he has hit lefties so well this year. Gives Grandal another day off from catching along with the day off coming on Monday. Be nice if Grandal could help carry this offense the last week of the season.

Do we know that Cain is good to go? I think I'd almost rather have Pina over Austin and put Grandal at first.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I'm expecting he will be, but no guarantee. And yeah I could get on board with that. Wouldn't change the order at all, swap Pina and Austin. Gives Grandal another day off from all the crouching

Arcia- SS

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

All the chatter I've been hearing from people is Brewers sweep over Pirates.

Ostensibly and on paper that's the case-the Pirates are a hot mess. But I just hope it's not one of those series where we drop 2 of 3 and everyone is scratching their heads. Because that's baseball sometimes.

Every time I see Perez starting, I gag a little.

We see to have plenty of Ofers, and I don't care about the splits. Perez is terrible.

I defend it when he’s playing well but he’s not. He’s been bad this month. Play Gamel, Taylor or Grisham.
