2019-09-19: Padres (Lucchesi) at Brewers (Lyles) [Brewers win, 5-1]

Eye Black

I think a healthy, fast runner scores on that Braun hit. Even waiting for the ball to get through the left fielder was playing deep in left center and had to go a long way to pick it up.

Need Austin to make it a moot point.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Lyles could use a nice 10 pitch inning.

Bill Schroeder debating if in an appeal situation a runner should just take off running or wait for the appeal and hope to not be called out.

Ummm. I would vote run, right Rock? You know you can go back if they end up calling it a ball, right?

Yes you run. Especially if the ball is to the backstop. No brainer Rock...didn't he play in the majors? How does he not know that?

This is correct. I know because I struck out a lot in elementary school baseball.
