Lamet can be sneaky good.

Lamet can be sneaky good.

Yup, I picked him late season for fantasy when he came back and got some good games out of him. Was somewhat on a pitch count back then due to the injury but should be about normal stretched now. But, in their situation it would be wise to not push him too much. He's capable of putting up a heck of a game though and has some good stuff, strikes a lot of people out which of course can be bad for us.

Looks like Lamet's velocity and spin rate have slowly been trending upward since his injury. His whiff rate is kinda ridiculous on his offspeed stuff...especially against RH hitters. It's absolutely critical that we pile up lefties today.

Grisham

Grandal

Moose - 2b

Braun

Thames

Gamel

Spang - SS

Shaw - 3b

P

Yes, I would be that drastic with the lineup today.

Well, that's a lineup.

I'm in good foul ball territory with all those lefties.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Manny first pitch swinging, anything to stop that horrible horrible booing.

Horrible booing for the Punk? No such thing, he deserves all he gets.....and then some.

Drink.

We'll see Braun in there tomorrow versus the lefty I imagine. He needs his rest days, and tonight makes more sense than tomorrow. Gotta think Grandal finally gets a breather tomorrow in the day game.

Yasmani Grandal won’t catch the series finale Thursday, Counsell said. Wednesday marked Grandal’s 14th consecutive start in as many days.
