When you bank on 5 or 6 pitchers a night, there is bound to be at least one guy that doesn't have it on a given night. Gio shouldn't have been pulled so early, another example of making a move just to make a move with the expanded rosters. CC likes to tinker far more than needed.

3 more innings of Frosty Boys, lets get this done!

Every time I see this, it cracks me up, every single time. This and Coach Cooper..

Add Pouring It On, Those 3 things crack me up.

This philosophy has worked for the most part, but it seems a little amped up tonight.

I missed the origin of Coach Cooper so I have no idea what it is every time it's brought up. But I just love Frosty Boys. Reminds me of years ago when someone was trying to make "The Keg" happen as a nickname for MP. At some point the wiki was changed and if you look at the edit history for MP it has several reversions and people commenting "no one calls it this" or "never heard this once in my life."

Took them to within one game of the World Series last year.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

[sarcasm]Imagine if Yaz wasn’t so tired all the time.[/sarcasm]

I see that is in blue, but there is merit to the fact that at some point, he is going to wear down. Catchers don't catch 12-13-14 games in a row for a reason.

hopefully it doesn't happen when we need him most, in the play-offs!

Suter also pitched 3 days ago. I’m sure that had something to do with it. But yes, our armchair managers would have this Padres team shutout tonight instead one giving up one run over 7 innings.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
