He's been terrible.

 

7 for 47 with a huge donger to help save the season much like his blast a few nights back in Miami. Had a big double against the Cubs in that series as well. He’s old. He’s streaky. He’s hurting. But he’s as clutch as they come and we are going to need more of it because this team lacks it.

 

I don't believe I've ever heard a home run called a "huge donger" but I'll thoroughly support this term. Expanding on this, "donkey donger" would be appropriate too

I understand that you have to secure these wins but Hader has had a ton of appearances lately, albeit generally shorter ones. He's being used much more like a traditional closer.

 

Would really like to get him 2-3 days off straight if we can.
