No off days all next week either. Any recent updates on Pina? Thought today with the lefty might be the day he'd come back and try to get Grandal a day. [sarcasm]Shockingly, Freitas isn't being thrown in at 1B and C to absolutely dominate[/sarcasm]

That’s all’s I can stands and I can’t stands no more. Freitas hurt his rib cage late August and missed more than a week, came back, got 7-8 AB’s, got called up to MKE, and has only pinch hit, albeit every game, and has yet to get a hit, with 3 bb and 2 K’s.

Point is, we are not seeing him at his best, not even close, unlike most of you, I’ve watched Freitas when he was playing every day and in a rhythm, he’s closer to a Great hitter than a good hitter. Go ahead and knock 100 points off his AAA average if you want, that would still make him almost a .300 hitter in the big leagues.

He’ll hit eventually, even if it’s only in a pinch hitting roll, he’s too good a hitter not too. But go ahead and pretend how smart we are by declaring Freitas a journeyman failure, but remember it’s because of his defense and not his hitting.

Haha. Another actual laugh out loud one. Yes, long for him to be taking ABs from Grandal. You're right. I think this is the first time I said anything on it and keep in mind you're not alone in the Freitas AAA love here.

OK we're on here, huge hit by Braun. With this momentum they have, keep playing from ahead will be huge. I'd think Hader can get at least 1 inning today, maybe two. Tack on some Badger Mutual Insurance runs and cruise in this one. I'd like to see Burnes get an appearance, good to be in this park for him haha.

Well, for all the crap I give Braun and as much as I think he was a snake, I will say he has done everything possible since that time to make amends to the Brewer community and MLB. Whether that has been done out of genuine remorse or just out of necessity to repair his legacy to the fullest extent possible, I cannot say but it is all he can do. I could be mistaken but I believe he even reached out to the collector and was forgiven.

Production wise, he obviously is not the player he once but when you look at other highly paid former superstars and how well they've aged, Kemp, Pujols, etc we certainly could be doing much worse.

4 innings - 2 runs = Brewers starting pitchers

Hopefully, the pen is ready to go today!

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
