Braun looks like he hasn't slept in three days. Eyes look puffy. Skin looks pale. No bueno.

Does anyone have any insight as to why Grandal seems to get pitched around so often? I get that he's obviously very good, but so often we'll be facing a pitcher that's completely locked in...then Grandal comes up and he starts him 2-0 or 3-0. That was even happening with Yelich behind him. It doesn't make any sense.

Well, it was a serious question as I can't get my live feed to work. Wasn't meant to start an argument.

 

The throw was coming from right field and was never going to get Cain at the plate. If Braun had run there would have been a play on him at second, either if the throw had been cut off or by the catcher.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Grandal is very disciplined at the plate, and rarely swings at balls out of the zone. Other hitters in this lineup are much less disciplined.

I'm doing my best. My wife even forced a Ryan Braun shirt upon me when I attended the game with my 3 year old last week to match his. :embarrassed :embarrassed
