Craig Counsell said whole Keston Hiura has been reinstated from the IL, he won’t play tonight and some ABs over the weekend in STL are more likely. He won’t play in the field until the homestand.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think this is somewhat expected, he isn't healthy yet. There is just no logistical reason to keep him on the IL.

I agree. It makes total sense. Never know with an emergency either.

Btw, you see that walk?!? #RyanBraunForever

I was going to post that, but Ball 3 was definitely a strike so I held back. Still a nice AB. Maybe he can poke one through the shift next AB and I'll definitely break out the hashtags.

How far ahead are we from the Mets?

Can’t even see them in the rear view mirror.

Nice work there Davies. Hopefully we can get one more out of him tonight. 4/2 seems to be a nice night from our starters.

Mets dangerous. Very surprised they haven't played better but the pitching makes them scary.

Mets Nats Cubbies DBacks Phillies can battle it out for the wild Card with the Cardinals. We’re taking this division.

The Nats have a killer schedule. They play Red sox, Braves, Mets, Indians, Phillies. They can still be caught.
