2019-09-05: Cubs (Quintana) at Brewers (Anderson) [Brewers lose, 10-5]

Eye Black
I guess I'm not sure what yours is, either. Just because I don't think they are going to make the playoffs doesn't mean I think it's impossible or that I am not still hoping for a great run.

I hope we sweep the Cubs and BrewCrew92 is right about everything. I still want that to happen, regardless of what I anticipate.

Sorry ... I guess I was misinterpreting your posts then. My bad. I agree with what you say here completely.

Yeah, I’ll take any ding dong being right if it means the Brewers win.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

No it's not your bad. Sometimes I let my frustration seep through for an overly negative tone, I acknowledge this and I need to do better at that. At the end of the day I'm sure we'd all love a September like last year, sure would be nice to start this series with a come from behind win today.

It'll be a long offseason of "patting myself on the back" posts, but agreed entirely.

That's one hell of a retort. This place could use a little more of that humility at times. I think we're all guilty of thinking this way. Hell, I made an IGT post last month alluding to the idea that offense had given up on the season, and was rightfully called out on it. We can all do better.

Is a retort that dessert I like so much?

Wow, another, kinda strange move, imo, bringing Albers in now. Not exactly pitching well last couple outings.

Sometimes it's important to look beyond the last 5 days.

McDonald's drive through instant gratification and ignorant, obnoxious hot takes rule the day.

Command has been off. But ok, other than Jackson, CC has been making great moves with the pen.

Tonight's lineup is gross. Wouldn't mind giving Austin or Freitas a shot to become Brewers legends.

CBA makes managing hard. Contacted to play or use options like they did with ten of their players. This ain't no playoff team Cain needs to cane the season.
