I need a replay on that but that but it sure looked like a risky throw.

Edit: NVM, wasn't too bad.

It wasn't great, but that was what we were saying about this receiving core, right? Rodgers needs to throw the ball UP a bit more. I'm still not a fan of the TD throw, but I do like him being a bit more aggressive.

Defense looking very solid so far playing is short fields. Clark is a stud. He's just gotten better and better each year.

Every day keeping Capers around looks worse and worse.

Give Capers these players and the defense would be playing well also. Capers was absolutely NEVER the problem. When he had talent, he had success.

Lordy. King wants to be the stud he supposedly he is there is no way you can drop that marshmallow.

Yeah....that was a floater that just landed in his stomach.

BUT...it's the second quarter, he's been healthy and he's played really well so far.

Bulaga is doing a job on Mack/Floyd...just gotta keep Rodgers clean.

The only thing I'd like to see change right now is I want to see Jenkins playing guard. I don't care which one...if they think Turner is so good, then put him at LG. He's clearly one of their top 5 OL.

After a great drive, back to waiting til the last millisecond to snap it, and Rodgers holding the ball while the pocket collapses around him. Like MM never left.

It's a tough D, at least that line works now. And week 1. If we're doing this against the Washingtons and the Detroits of the league in week 9 I'll have a problem.

Expected him to struggle tonight but they will need something out of Aaron Jones this year to stop this crap.

I'll call that last drive a success. It flipped the field and lasted enough time to get the defense a breather.

Lafeur's offense was sold as a lot of motion and quick hits. Haven't seen much of it yet. But you are right, it is extremely early.

Why, the TD throw was a catch or incomplete pass...much like the huge throw to MVS. There wasn’t much risk for an interception on either when the defender is behind the receiver. Worst case the DB gets in there and deflects it away.

JK Scott is a weapon. Yeah I said it.

Is this a controversial point? He was outstanding all pre-season, regularly booming kicks with 5+ hang time. He was good last year, he's better this year. Definitely worth a 5th round pick to get a guy who can flip the field.

Well...I wanted him to be more aggressive. I don't think it was either a TD or incomplete. I thought it could have been a pick if the Bears DB got his head around. But hard to complain about a TD or throwing it UP to a 6'7 TE who has been an All Pro.

No but he's a punter.

I recall a punter back in the earlier Rodgers years (maybe post Super Bowl) that was an absolute pile...and really screwed us all the time. Made me want a good punter so bad.
