Back to reality. The Brewers aren’t signing Cole.

Spoken like a fan beaten down by years of mediocrity. I wouldn't have pegged them to do the Yelich/Cain off season. They might not but they need to try.

Trading for a guy on a team friendly contract (Yelich) is not at all comparable to signing a guy who is likely to be one of (if not the) premier free agent of the upcoming off-season.

Cain wasn't a team friendly deal in the slightest. That said taking a meeting with Cole and any other top end arm is a must. It can't hurt and the need can't be any more clear. If you want to run it back with Chase and Burnes ok. I don't.

Correct and I’m not beaten down one bit. I like the direction we are going with many things we are doing. What I do know is that the Brewers are not financially set up to take on premier free agent pitchers that will probably cost $30M+ a year in their 30’s. If they are, it’d be for a couple years only via trade ala a Grienke situation. And even that doesn’t seem all that realistic.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Well this is potentially it for Cole. Gotta take it to their pen.

Yes..... because what I said is not wanting to sign Cole means I ONLY want to have Burnes in the rotation., and not explore other options....

Nice strawman

If every pitcher just pitched in the same spot that cole pitches in every game, every score would be 1-0, 2-1 in the uppercut launch angle age of mlb

Only if every pitcher could also touch 99 with his fastball and had good off speed stuff

Your strawman of we ain't signing Cole before he even becomes a free agent is sweet though. Relax dude. Remember I said Cole would look good in blue. What do you have to complain about with that statement? I know that's how you roll but leave me be.

You don’t have to throw 99 if you throw it high with a tail on it. A lot of these hitters have no chance. Watch gamel swing underneath belt high straight balls. Its ridiculous
