One thing that would help in this next week would be if Yelich could start hitting at something close to what we’ve gotten used to. Whether it’s his back or just wearing down from the long season following a long postseason and busy offseason, he’s looking like a tired player. Very few hard hit balls this week and leaving a ton of runners on base.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nice to clear the pitcher in the 2nd inning. Hopefully, the second time around we will get a few.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

In this kind of low contact/high homerun environment, it really just doesn't make sense to attempt steals with your 3-4-5 guys coming up. Giving up outs, or even taking the chance to give up an out to gain an extra base when such a high percentage of your scored runs come from homers doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I just do not understand how that's called out after challenge. Is it some kind of respect the umps thing? That was not even close on video.

I think they might have been wrong but to say it wasn't even close is a bit inaccurate.

Brewers vs LHP in 2019 not a good matchup. Hoping Davies can continue to pitch well. Seems like Cain coming alive. If they can win this game, the streak is on.

Yes, but if they can't, Stearns goes back to the hot seat and Yelich and Hader to the trade block.

Best view would've been that side view but the 2nd baseman was in the way. The other view behind 2nd base was basically useless and it doesn't help that Hiura has that giant oven mitt on either.

It was close live. On the video he was indisputably safe. So "not close" that I really can't comprehend how they stuck with it. Not bang bang at all and I've seen many others on replay I'd consider toss ups. That was no toss up.

I feel like you were watching entirely different replays than I was. I didn't see a single angle that wasn't blocked in a way that it was impossible to see when he was tagged in relation to when he touched the base. I think it was close enough that you could say the tie goes to the runner but I would really like to see the replay you saw, because the ones I saw showed basically nothing, other than the fact it was basically a tie at the bag.
